Never outgrew my photography phase

I photograph mostly for my own enjoyment. It’s a fun creative outlet, and an engaging way to document life. If I can bring a camera with me, I do. An old, mechanical camera is magical. It started with film as a kid, progressed to 35mm SLRs as a young adult, transitioned to digital, and now the pull of analog authenticity has me frequently reaching for vintage gear.

Part of the impetus for bringing my personal website back was to explore ways to share my photographs that aren’t social media. This space is not about likes or competing for split seconds of algorithm. It’s just somewhere for me to post images I enjoyed creating.
